CONCEPT TO COMPLETION DESIGN RENOVATION + STYLING 

STEP 1.

 

Step 1 in our 6 step process is an initial phone call to discuss your project requirements. This briefing session helps us to understand what you’re trying to achieve, your budget, timeline and any other needs. The Brief provides a clear briefing to achieve the best possible outcome individual to you and your job. We will then put together a design proposal for discussion and your approval.

STEP 2.

An in-home or on site personal consultation will allow us to further discuss the scope of your project, your goals and your budget. If required, we will obtain the most up-to-date set of plans for your space from you for us to draw upon. All decision-makers need to be at this meeting and you can expect it to typically last between 1 and 3 hours.

We will cover the following during this initial consultation:

• The scope of your project in detail, including all areas involved in the project, each spaces’ desired function, and your ideas and goals for each space.

• We will measure your spaces for the planning and design stage.

• Your tastes, preferences, likes, dislikes and personal style.

• Material and finishes selection. We will provide images to look through, samples of stone, flooring, tiles and anything else that is relevant to your specific brief but you are always welcome to bring inspiring images of your own as well.

• Establishing a realistic budget and timeline for your space.

STEP 3.

Depending on the scope of work, the design proposal will include the following items:

• Mood boards: The mood boards consist of everything you envisage for your design project, based on our conversation during the initial consultation. We will present to you suggested colours, fabrics, flooring, lighting and furnishing themes, giving you a preview into the overall look of the finished project..

• Finishes Schedules – All finishes, fixtures and features selection for proposed works: We will compile a finishes schedule for each of the rooms required for your renovation. This will include our suggestions on flooring, lighting, furniture, fixtures, appliances, tapware, tiles etc for each room within your renovation, with prices included for each item.

 

 

STEP 4.

Once we have your approval to move forward with the design process the next stage is our Quote for implementing the project. Depending on the inclusions specific to your fee proposal, we will start planning and drawing up your spaces, filling in any furnishing, fittings and materials that were discussed during your consultation for your approval.

This is where you will receive finishes schedules, detailed plans, drawings, plans, furnishing advise and anything else that was included within your design proposal.

STEP 5.

Upon approval of your proposed plans from the above step 4, we will begin coordinating communications with relevant tradespeople (licensed trade professionals such as plumbers, electricians ) to carry out any renovation project. We will liaise with you to ensure any councils, building surveyors and engineers all the appropriate permits to undertake the renovation.

STEP 6.

From concept design to project completion, we are there to help and guide you out every step of the way. We believe communication with our customers is extremely important from quote right through to final completion. This ensures that every detail envisioned by customers is met, promising satisfaction with every job. As part of our Design & Build Package we offer a simple and personalised project management support. We set you a timeline and keep you updated with our process regular, so you always know what’s going on.
